Seasonal Climate
Spring — Warm weather arrives early on the southern plains. By late March daytime temperatures are already pleasant, and April is often dry and sunny. Farmers begin planting as the risk of frost passes by mid-March — one of the earliest dates in the kingdom.
Summer — The hottest season in Syldavia. Temperatures frequently exceed 35 °C in July and August, with prolonged dry spells that strain the agricultural lowlands. Afternoon heat haze is common. Relief comes from occasional thunderstorms, though rainfall totals remain low.
Autumn — September brings welcome cooling, with warm days and cooler nights. October is mild and often the month with the most comfortable conditions. The first rains of the wet season arrive in November, replenishing dry soils.
Winter — Mild by Syldavian standards. Frost is infrequent and snow rare in the plains, though cold snaps from the continental interior can briefly push temperatures below freezing. Overcast skies and moderate rainfall prevail from December through February.
